Square Peg Design developed this catalogue for ceramic artist Fleur Schell. The cover employes blind embossing onto an uncoated stock to replicate the texture and style of artists medium, fine porcelain.
Imants Tillers is one of the most important Australian artists and in 2009 The Lawrence Wilson Gallery held the Imants Tillers 'The Long Poem' exhibition. Square Peg Design created this 64 page catalogue, produced in soft and hard cover and featured landscape throw- out sections.
Helen Britton, Bronwyn Goss, Sarah Elson, Sarah Elson. This exhibition was presented by FORM Center for Contemporary Craft. The die cut concerina folfed invitation focused the four artists directions onto a central map of Perth. Square Peg Design's award winning invitation supported an interleaved silver wiro bound catalogue.
A joint Japanese and Australia Exhibition in Tokyo featured artists Sandra Black, Anne Farren and Tousui Tanaka. Square Peg Design created the identity, style, and for this exhibition. Items consisted of the exhibition catalogue (40pgs), invitation and projector sequence. The print material utilised diecuts, laminates and UV varnish
Designed for artists Louise Hibbert & Sarah Parker-Eaton, this interlocking die-cut folder (4 colour process, metallic) housed a collection of display cards. Square Peg Design then applied the theme to gallery signage, didactic panels and exhibition items.
Initially opened in Western Australia and followed by a national tour, LACE_ Contemporary Perspectives, celebrated the contemporary fibre work of six international artists. This 40 page catalogue supports the works with spacious and clean layouts.
For artists Wendy Lugg and Chungie Lee. Square Peg Design's publication reflects, the handwork and the finish of the exhibitions aesthetic, with a presentation that combines smooth and textured uncoated stock with a handstitched spine and remnant thread.
To celebrate the completion of the Midland Railway Sculptural Park Square Peg Design created this expansivelandscape format catalogue profiling the contributing artists. The cover is finished with metallic ink, matt laminate, UV varnish and bound with stainless steel wiro.

Since 2002 Square Peg Design has worked with the John Curtin Gallery at Curtin University. Graphic design for didactic panels, catalogues, posters and invitations on twenty major exhibitions. Artists have included Denise Green, Pippin Drysdale, Ruth Tarvydas, David Sequira, Jesper Just, Mathew Ngui and U-Ram Choe.
Square Peg Design has produced a substantial range of invitations and catalogues for the International Art Space Kellerberrin Australia. Extensive catalogues include 'From Space to Place', 'Out of Site' to the latest 'Spaced' publication a showcase of IASKA'S international artists and community residencies.
Since 2003 Square Peg Design has worked with the Lawrence Wilson Gallery. Creating a range of publication materials for over twelve exhibitions. This has included catalogues, posters, and invitations for artists such as Brian Blanchflower, Imants Tillers, Rodney Glick and many of the galleries group and curated exhibitions.
Since 2001 Square Peg Design has worked with the arts touring organisation ART ON THE MOVE to design a wide range of support materials include didactic panels, signage, catalogues, posters and room programs and education programs. Project artists have included Nalda Serles, Dave Carson and more recently Tim Burns.
From 2005 Square Peg Design worked with the Fremantle Arts Centre to create exhibition promotions, catalogues and a multitude of visual support material and this has resulted in being acknowledged for the Fremantle Print Awards.
Through the initiative of Tracker Development Square Peg Design has had the privilege of producing a range of catalogues that support the development of Western Australia's Indigenous Art Centers. These extend from the Western Desert to the North Kimberley.
Square Peg Design has worked with the Fremantle Prison Gallery since 2003 on long term exhibitions. Work has included advertisements, signage, didactic panels, catalogues and educational support materials. This work has been rewarded in the Museum Australia Awards.
FORM is Western Australia's peak professional association for designers, artists and craftspeople. Square Peg Design has provided a multitude of exhibition requirements and catalogues for over 10 years featuring local artists and craftspeople in individual and theme curated exhibitions.

'Ancient India and the Lure of its Diamonds' by Hugh Durey was a richly illustrated glimpse into the history of diamonds in India.
Square Peg Design created a lavish 192 pages full colour publication with case binding, french fold dust-jacket and slip case.
Extensive publications titled From Space to Place, Out of Site and the latest 250 page Spaced – art out of place, showcase IASKA'S work, international artists and community residencies. Square Peg Design's publications features an 8 page cover, embossing and foiled typography.
Square Peg Design's developed this publication with John Curtin Galley. It celebrated a decade of exhibitions at the John Curtin Galley, Curtin University. The 160 pages recorde a decade of gallery events, it featured a matt black cover (8 Pages with flaps) and included laminate and UV varnish highlights.
This World Wildlife Fund book for the Walmajarri people of the Southern Kimberley region of Western Australia included the knowledge and stories of over 350 plants and animals. Square Peg Design designed and produced this 250 page full colour hidden spiral bound publication.
The Northern Territory Parks and Wildlife Services and ethnobotanist Glenn Wightman has engaged Square Peg Design since 1996. We have produced a very wide range of detailed ethnobotanical publications that record the Aboriginal knowledge of flora and fauna in the Northern Territory.
Published for Greening Australia (WA) by Nick Smith and Mike Clark, Square Peg Design produced this 350 page publication. It promotes native plants of the Pilbara for use in gardens and in landscape. 2000 images are accompanied with desciptions, planting guides and summary symbols.
Since 2005 Square Peg Design has produced a range of large scale publications for Greening Australia NT. These publications of 100 to 350 page books are on weeds, grasses and the native flora.
This international forum for an exchange of creative ideas included textiles, art, design, fashion practice, exhibitions, performances, public art, a retail project and workshops. Square Peg Design's work included theming, branding and applying this to publications, folders, flyers, CDs, banners, programs and all conference materials.
Square Peg Design created this commemorative publication for The Department of Culture and the Arts in soft cover and case bound, presents the living cultural treasures of Western Australia. The hard bound copies were finished with an embossed and foiled government crests and with calligraphic text.

Clinical Training & Education Centre is a medical training facility of world standing. Square Peg Design produced folders and inserts for marketing facilities and education programs to the medical and surgical profession. Tabbed inserts are supported in a folder printed in full colour with metallic ink and diecut form.
This report and promotional folders are for a specialist financial services company. Square Peg Designcreated a 2 colour folder that incorporates a matt laminate, metallic ink embellishment. Designed to support the Euroz Annual Report it also includes a wiro bound documents for specific clients.
Quality Inspection Personal (QIP) is an international quality inspection company.
Square Peg Design rejuvenated the QIP identity, developed a corporate folder with tabulated inserts, business cards and a CD in full colour and metallic inks – a UV varnish highlighting the main image.
The University of Western Australia Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics required the integration of the new identity with the UWA branding. Square Peg Design created and applied this new theme to the website, PowerPoints, education notes, brochures, catalogues and banners.

The Hill International Medical & Surgical workshops provide state-of-the-art medical & surgical training. Square Peg Design broad developed an identity and then styled this to folders and inserts. The brief required a contemporary treatment yet retain traditional links to the medical profession and founded Mr Danny Hill.

An Arts and Culture Map by Tourism WA locates Perth City's museums, galleys, fashion outlets, public artworks and includes a calendar of festivals and events. Square Peg Design's full colour A2 map folds to Dl size and is available at all tourist locations around Perth.
ArtsEdge provides regular updates to art educators, performers, and practitioners. Square Peg Design created the identity, theme and produced eight editions of this quarterly ‘A0’ sized folding calendar. Also the promotional flyers, complementary folders, plus an 80 page practitioners kit.
‘Keeping it in the Mix’ was an initiative of the Department for Culture and the Arts to sustain local live music in the developing inner city area. Square Peg Design's developed styling and identity. Then produced the promotional folders and inserts suitable for residents, developers and venue owners.
Furnishing Industry Association of Australia engaged Square Peg Design to produce promotional brochures, styling and signage for three contributors, providing unity yet supporting each unique discipline in timber furniture concepts.
Square Peg Design developed a range of specialty diecut folders and product catalogues for OFFICE LINE gave a fresh approach to mail-outs and received an instant response, with an increase in sales and re-establishment of market visibility.
Biennale of Electronic Art Perth (BEAP) engaged Square Peg Design for six years. We developed themes and styles website/folders/flyers/CDs/banners and programs and all conference materials for what was widely regarded as the premiere electronic arts event in the Asia Pacific region.
‘Panda promotion’ supported BHP Billitons adoption of panda twins China. Square Peg Design created and extensive range of calenders, catalogues, folders and banners operating at a corporate level plus integration of the style and material for school level activities. All publications were provided with bilingual content.
Western Australian creator of exotic kasundis, curry pastes and pickles for delicatessen and restaurants Goan Cuisine worked with Square Peg Design to produce branding, promotional banners, recipe material to support these national distributed products.
Square Peg Design developed this unique promotion for the commissioning by BHP Billiton Iron Ore Mining Operations of sixteen new CAT 793C trucks. Printed in metallic and full colour it provides a die-cut standup card housed in a specialty envelope.

Contemporary Craft and Design Inc. is Western Australia's peak professional association for designers, artists and craftspeople. FORM advocates for and develops creativity in WesternﾠAustralia. Square Peg Design has produced over 20 quarterly editions of the FORM (previously) Craftwest magazine and annual reports.
Square Peg Design created this inaugural members report was for CBH Group, Western Australia. The 32 page report was designed to inform the permanent employees, grain growers and their spouses on their super fund.
From 1999 Square Peg Design provided a range of members annual reports, booklets, statements and newsletters for the Western Power Super Fund.
From 1997 Square Peg Design has provided annual reports, booklets, statements, newsletters and website for Western Australia's Coal Industries Superannuation Fund and also for the Coal Industries Superannuation Board.

‘Panda promotion’ supported BHP Billitons adoption of panda twins an environmental strategy, supporting and raising the international awareness of the Chinese Panda.To support a multitude of applications Square Peg Design's Identity provides a playfulness that communicates at both a school and corporate level.
A 2 colour identity was developed by Square Peg Design to support an enterprise involving the work of West Australian artist Elizabeth Durack. The symbol of the crab was drawn out from the imagery of the Artist and incorporated with historical references.

Milton Andrews established Square Peg Design in 1996. From 2008–2012 Square Peg Design was on the panel contracted for the provision of communications services for The Department of Culture and the Arts, Western Australia. Square Peg Design received the Museums Australia’s ‘Highly Commended’ for the Fremantle Prison's exhibition branding packages. Our designs have been recognised in the WS LONNIE Awards for excellence in annual reporting and also the Printing Industries Craftsman Awards.

Senior Designer, Hobart & Perth: Milton Andrews graduated with a BA (Design) from Curtin University, Western Australia – he was a recipient of the Vice-Chancellor's List Award recognising the top 1% of undergraduates. Milton also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Drama from Auckland University and a Diploma in Fine Arts (BFA) from the Otago School of Art, New Zealand.
Milton was engaged as an industry consultant and part-time lecturer in the areas of creative design, pre-press and print at Curtin University School of Design and also The School of Communications and Art, Edith Cowan University.
Milton also has a 25 year history of line and tone illustration with The Australian Museum; Kew Gardens, London; Flora of Australia and extensively for Australian ethnobotanical studies.
A foundation in fine arts, theatre and design has provided Milton with a strong, broad knowledge base from which to realise successful creative solutions.
Senior Designer, Sydney: Tané Andrews
graduated with a BFA (Distinction) from Curtin University, Western Australia and has a qualification in Graphic Design from Central TAFE, Perth, Western Australia.
Tané was a finalist for Design Now Object Awards in the Design for the Body category and a recipient of the Chairman’s Travel Grant. Awarded by Haruhisa Handa and the International Foundation for Arts and Culture, winner of the Quest For Excellence, Art Award.
Tané has worked in the fashion industry with the label 'Of Cabbages and Kings'. He has created many successful catwalk installations and awarded window displays for Perths premier fashion house Dilettante. Tanés graphic design work for the boutique's catalogues, swing tags, quarterly magazines and event publications has always been innovative and recognised.
